A few months ago, after acquiring the largest label in Second Life (of which we're using to prototype the record label of tomorrow), we moved its HQ to the Slackstreet sim, and revamped the listening stations for the artists in Second Life. We've also introduced SListen, an all access music listening station for any SL artist to showcase a song or two, soon to be spread around the grid.

There's been some recent interest in Podcasting there. As an officer of the Podcasting group and as a person helping to lead the charge of music promotion *and* sales of music (while helping the artists retain contract-free control of their relationship), we've set up listening stations for Creative Commons Music, as well as a listening station for the AMPed New Music Weekly Podcast, both of which on with the others on the lot of Multiverse Records.

Come by and say hi and watch the progress. Also, get ready for some dual-sim live music concerts, as the Multiverse Records Waterfront Stage is open, and soon, the largest conference center in Second Life sponsored by Hipcast, the new name of Audioblog.com.

Don't forget also, this saturday is the City Stages Music event in Menorca, and then on the 29th, a 15 hour concert on the brand new Dublin,, Ireland sim starring Multiverse artists and more.

IM me in world. I'm Spin Martin, and I'll be your concierge for all things media. ;-)
