What you need to read articles, listen to podcasts, or watch videos
There is plenty of software to do this--- some are free or very inexpensive. This software can be desktop-based or web-based (think of the difference between Hotmail or Outlook--same purpose, different types). Here's a list of popular programs, what they are used for, and the ones that are my personal favorites.

How to subscribe to Eric Rice's blog, podcast, or videoblogs
Simply copy the appropriate address below and add it to the software you are using. Typically, these programs will have an "add" or "add feed" function. Consult the documentation for the software you use.
The following can by called by many names like 'feeds', 'newsfeeds', 'RSS', "XML Feeds". Often, you will see little orange buttons that say 'RSS' or 'XML' on various sites around the Web. Those are the feeds for the site you are visiting. Follow the same steps listed above to subscribe, and get this content delivered to you!
